The roll: ninety degrees in two phases rather than one.

Nought to forty-five over 300 ms on an exponential-out(6), then forty-five to ninety over another 300 linearly — six hundred in total. The change of curve halfway is the whole character of it: the page eases into the turn and then completes it at a constant rate, which reads as something being carried rather than something falling. Opacity is not animated at all.

It does not hide anything. Nothing here fades and nothing is removed: at the end of the exit the content is still on screen, standing at ninety degrees. On the phone that is invisible because the navigation removes the page the moment the transition completes, and a caller here has to do the same — keep the content composed for the six hundred milliseconds and then stop. The same is true of KvadrantSlide and KvadrantRotate, and it is least obvious with this one, whose end state is a full-width element lying across the page rather than something edge-on.
